1. reset your router every few days, its helps a lot.
2. turn off your computer at night, there longer its on is the more the cpu temperature rises.
3. free up computer space, and scan for viruses on a daily basis.
4. sometimes dust builds up by filters, wipe it off with a dry rag occasionally.
I have a Windows XP AMD Athlon 64 Dual Core Processor 3800+ with 2.01 GHz, 908mb of ram and 112gb of computer space + a cable internet connection with a bad router, if you get buffer and have a better computer and internet connection than mine then the tips above should be useful to you.

For the people who say that they were pissed at the site because they left and came back. Do you really think a site should have an open connection for a while when there is no one at the end user's computer. As a server admin for a university we terminate any connection like this. so go babble somewhere else.

This is the best futurama site I have ever found, and also the best site for an indivifual show in general. After going through endless crappy sites for shows, this seems like a heavenly site.

As pointless as it is to get involved with online internet comment drama...
I have a laptop that is one year old. I have a fairly good (private) internet connection. I could load the video from the start (on Chrome, but not FF). However, when I happened to leave the video half way through and come back to it... I spent about 3 minutes buffering with no progress made before giving up. Since I rarely watch the entire hour and half at once this is important to me. This is after I spent the time to freaking download the stuff so I could watch it!
So stop telling people to shut up and upgrade their computer and/or internet. I'm not upgrading both every year to watch a video. If I have to download something to watch that video - I damn well better be able to enjoy it how I want!
I'll be watching the low quality version. And uninstalling this crap I just installed in hopes of watching something less pixelated.
That aside - I appreciate the site and I especially appreciate that they maintain a link to the low quality version - many sites neglect to do so.
On topic of the movie... I would say this is my favorite of the four Futurama movies :P

Your problem is your using a laptop (probably stock)
1. Laptops are NOT meant to run High Quality videos
2. If your using an integrated graphics card like a stock laptop would be then your overloading your RAM since your graphics are sharing the same RAM as your processor.

First off, I'm running a laptop. Secondly, my internet speed is 768 Kb/s (the slowest my internet provider offers). Thirdly, for you people who are saying computer speed has nothing to with internet speed, you're incorrect. Their are limits to what a computer can handle depending on RAM and processor speed. If you put 3 Mb/s internet on a computer with barely any memory, it will slow down your computer (due to much more being sent to the computer than it can handle at once) or even crash it. I for one am running a Toshiba running Windows 7. AMD Vision processor and 4 GB of RAM, and sometimes I still have problems with internet speeds. These can be because of certain factors. If you are using DSL (like I am) your general area uses the same connection to the ISP host. When more people are using the DSL at once in your area, the speed will be slower. Unfortunately I'm unfamiliar with Cable internet connections (never worked with them) so I don't know why those would be slower. Also, for some reason, some of the videos load slower than others on this site (perhaps how they're uploaded?) and can't seek or load when paused. Like episode 301 - The Honking. Not only does this not let me seek, but if I do, the video freezes and I have to restart my internet. Maybe that's just my computer, but remember that even those with brand new computers running high-speed internet have problems sometimes.

wow, everyone has to fight. Ima have to agree that the video player isnt the greatest. It does load quick but I also have the skipping problem when i try to fast foward it or go back it freezes on me. and the adds are annoying but this site has the least of any so far, but thats just for the episodes. The movie player is awesome, its divx player great quality on those

I realize you have to make money somehow, but that thing asking if I want to take the bleeping quiz is getting on my bleeping nerves, i'm not signing up for their bleeping quiz website, the quizzes are stupid and have nothing to do with anything i'm interested in.
